The Golf Fitness System - Level 2

Introduction

The Golf Fitness System Level 2 places special focus on golf specific functional testing and exercise drills. This 2 CD software program has arguable the most up to date and advanced information on golf specific functional tests and golf specific exercise drills. There are over 350 fully animated segments to this program, which is why it is a double CD package.

It also outlines a physiological golf model. This model has been identified as a result of the analysis of data that we have collected from profiling over 4000 golfers. We have also used this information working closely with some of the world's leading golf coaches to identify technical breakdown patterns and their association with muscle imbalance, postural weakness and physiological breakdowns within the golf swing.

Posture bar safety precaution

  1. Prior to commencing the Golf Specific Functional Tests and Drill have an assessment with your Physiotherapist to ensure correct exercise prescription is given.
  2. Maintain correct body positioning and posture whilst doing the drills.
  3. Only proceed to next level when you are able to do the exercises easily.
  4. Ensure that the rubber tubing is securely attached to the bar (3 secure knots either side).
  5. Make sure the tubing is in good condition and not worn -
    Replace as necessary.
  6. If using a door or on a hook whilst doing the posture bar drill ensure that the tubing is securely attached and will not slip off.
  7. Check that the clips, nuts and tubing are secure before commencing the drills.
  8. All golfers / patients must be screened / assessed prior to using the posture bar.
  9. If you experience intense pain stop.
  10. Please read the precautions relevant to each exercise prior to commencing.
  11. Before participating in the exercises the golfer should grip and swing the posture bar as though carrying out a practice golf swing.
  12. After using the posture bar check positions, grip and swing patterns - if possible use mirrors.

Spikey Ball Precautions

  1. Have assessment with your Physiotherapist to ensure correct exercise prescription is given.
  2. If you experience intense pain stop.
  3. Please read the precautions relevant to each exercise prior to commencing.
  4. Do not use the ball if you have acute inflammation, spinal injury, cardiac problem or arthritic condition;
  5. Always use a firm surface either floor or wall
